Here, global warming is an every day fact, including even Cadbury-the biggest manufacturer of chocolate with a factory here in Dunedin--using it in their advertising.

The planes we took when hopping from North Island to South were relatively small compared to the monstorous jet liner we took over seas. The turbulence seemed to be throwing many of the passengers for a ride they had not planned for.

In NZ there is no fear of shiesty activities; so at the airport you are allowed to walk directly onto the tarmack to board your plane. There isn't any baggage check when boarding and you can walk in and out of the airport at will. Maybe the lack of security also leaves the Kiwis with a lack of fear.

Two Maori guides on our adventure...They say this face is an old tribal gesture symbolizing "Your flesh would taste good in my belly."
